John McLaughlin
Associate Analyst of REGAL-FIG

John McLaughlin is a sophomore from Kingston, PA, majoring in Finance and Accounting. He joined Leveraged Lion Capital in the Spring of 2025 and currently serves as an Associate Analyst in the REGAL-FIG Sector. For the summer of 2026, John will be interning at SMBC as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group.

Outside of LLC, John is involved with the Nittany Markets Analysis Association, the Penn State Blue Band, being a Resident Assistant, and Essence of Joy Choir. Some of his interests include Barbershop quartet singing, dirt bikes, and saxophone. He says that Leveraged Lion Capital has provided him with the opportunity to elevate his Penn State education. During his time, he hopes to improve his skills and knowledge in finance as he pursues a career in investment banking.
