Matthew Zappetti

Director of Research

Matthew Zappetti is a sophomore from Haddonfield, NJ, majoring in Finance and minoring in Computational Science. He joined Leveraged Lion Capital in the Spring of 2025 and currently serves as the Director of Research. Previously, he was also an Associate in the Industrials sector. For the summer of 2026, Matthew will be interning with Velocity Capital Advisors as a Private Credit summer analyst. For the summer of 2027, Matthew will be interning with SMBC as an investment banking summer analyst.

 

Outside of LLC, Matthew is involved with the Sapphire Leadership Academic Program. Some of his interests include Philadelphia sports, football, cooking, and DJing. He says that joining Leveraged Lion Capital has put him in a great spot both personally and professionally. He hopes to gain more information and connections through LLC and eventually end up with a career on Wall Street.
