Mert Budak

Director of Education

Mert Budak is a junior from West Chester, PA, majoring in Finance. He joined Leveraged Lion Capital in the Fall of 2024 and currently serves as the Director of Education. Previously, he served as Co-Director of Pitch Quality. For the summer of 2026, Mert will be interning at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group. ​

Outside of LLC, Mert is involved with THON, the Nittany Markets Analysis Association, and the Penn State Finance Society. His interests include Jazz, soccer, and fantasy football. He said that LLC has provided him with a community of like-minded friends and helped him become better prepared for the financial services industry.
